Letter to the Editor: Endorsing Parrino for Mineola School Board
Albertson resident Eric Treibman submitted the following letter.
I am writing to express my support for Irene Parrino for reelection to the Mineola Board of Education.
I first met Irene through the Albertson Square Civic Association. It was there I saw her dedication to community like no other. Irene has shown in her capacity as a civic leader and a board of education trustee her selflessness to better our community and school district.
Ms. Parrino has proven herself to be an independent thinker to weigh out all possible options on every issue, and work to better our school district.
Currently, Ms. Parrino is the only board member with children attending our schools. As a parent of two young children attending Mineola Schools, Irene has a personal vested interest in the quality of our educational system. We can be sure, with this personal interest and beyond, she will only continue to show leadership and dedication to the advancement of our school district.
Please remember to vote on May 21 for Irene Parrino for Mineola Board of Education Trustee.
