Meadow Drive Students Set Up Giving Tree for 2013 Christmas Season
Mineola students collect gifts for needy families for Christmas season.
Students at the Meadow Drive School in the Mineola School District set up a Giving Tree for the 2013 holiday season.
The Giving Tree, located in the school’s main office, has mittens labeled with the names of presents for local families who are in need of assistance with their holiday shopping this season.
Students and staff have been removing mittens, purchasing the items listed and returning them to school to deliver before the holiday.
