Mineola Class of 2013 Member Recipient of Excellence in Economics Award

Senior Conner Dunleavy has opportunity to apply for internship during college years.

Mineola High School senior Conner Dunleavy was recently named the recipient of the Comptroller’s Achievement Award for excellence in economics and finance by Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos.

The annual award recognizes graduating seniors who have excelled in economics, accounting or finance and who have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Seniors are nominated for the honor by their schools.

Winners have an opportunity to apply for a paid summer internship in the Comptroller’s Office during their college years. Several have served as interns, contributing substantially to major projects within the comptroller’s office.
