Mineola High School 2014 Jazz Night is Feb. 5

The Mineola UFSD Department of Fine and Performing Arts will host its annual jazz night on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 p.m. in the Mineola High School Auditorium. 

Performers will include the Middle School Jazz Band, the Mineola High School Big Band and the Mineola High School Jazz Ensemble.

Music Teachers Mr. Bennett, Mr. Ratner and Mr. Carreras will direct the instrumental Jazz Program and are excited about showcasing the talents of their students.

Brian Lewis (owner of Lewis Music Store on Jericho Turnpike) is bringing his 12 piece professional “New Vintage Orchestra” to perform as our special guest artist.  Brian Lewis is also providing workshops to our High School jazz band students to fully round out an “Artist-in-Residence” program. Admission is Free.
