Mineola High School senior Sujith Maracheril has been named a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program for 2013.
He has proudly received a Certificate of Merit and is in the running to become one of 8,400 Merit Scholarship winners from a group of approximately 15,000 finalists.
The recipients of awards totaling more than $34 millionwill be announced this spring.
The Mineola Union Free School District congratulates Sujith on this impressive achievement and wishes him the best of luck in obtaining one of the scholarship prizes.
