Mineola High School Students Put on Prom Fashion Show (VIDEO)

It’s not everyday that high school students are asked to be part of a fashion show.

This past Friday members of the Class of 2013 put on a display of prom ensembles for the senior class as part of their annual prom fashion and fundraiser.

The show works on two levels for both the junior and senior classes. The juniors take to the auditorium stage modeling tuxedos, prom gowns and raffles in order to help raise money for their own prom next year. Meanwhile, the seniors can buy those raffle tickets, hoping to win a ticket to their own prom this year and get the chance to see a number of the latest fashion trends available to them at  in Farmingdale, which they may wish to wear to the prom.

Several gift baskets were given away, including ones containing beach goods, chocolates and scented items.

The models for the night included Nikki Massaro, Allie Furuya, Angela Ribeiro, Ashley Stavish, Brittany Vera, Catia Goncalvez, Chanel Ianelli, Delores Chichi, Christina Palmenteri, Jaclyn Lusardi, Janet Ribando, Jill Mullane, Julie Giamo, Lisa DeStefano, Natalie Kain, Neha Narvekar, Paige Illiano, Stefanie Amendoeria, Tess Canell, Taylor Lenze, Sam Cocit, Tom Behan, Eric Timlin, Bobby Rogers, Justin Sandler, Josh Lopes, Juan Galvez, Mike Waszczuk, Robby Dwyer, Rohit Singla and DJ DeRosa. Nick Cerame and Alex Ribeiro provided music for the show on the turntables.
