Students in classes of Kathryn Haberman and Susan Palladino, baked own goods and sold gift tags for party.

Eighth through 12th graders in the life skills program at Mineola High School recently hosted their annual holiday party.

Students in the two classes taught by Kathryn Haberman and Susan Palladino, created their own desserts, including festive brownies and cookies. In the weeks prior to the party, students created and sold holiday gift tags to raise money for the event.

The students also made their own invitations for honored family, friends, teachers and administrators. The celebration included holiday arts and crafts, as well as festive music.
