Mineola Schools Closed Friday, Jan. 3 Due to Snowstorm
Heavy snow storm closes schools for January 3.
Students in the Mineola School District will have a day off Friday, January 3 as blizzard conditions due to the snowstorm have blanketed the Long Island area with a heavy coat of snow, making roads impassable and shutting down service on the Long Island Railroad.
The closings were announced on the Mineola District website.
