Second-grade students at Hampton Street School in the Mineola Union Free School District had the unique opportunity of Skyping with fellow second-graders from Mineola, TX.
Under the direction of Hampton Street librarian Diane Nodell, students exchanged questions, answers and dialogue about their hometowns of the same name, including a rundown of recentevents and geographical information.
The experience offered the second-graders a look at the similarities and differences between students in other areas.
