Mineola Student Receives White House Response to Letter

Jackson Avenue fourth grader Adnan Tapa gets answer to letter to President Obama.

MINEOLA – Adnan Tapa, a fourth-grade student at Jackson Avenue School in the Mineola Union Free School District, recently took it upon himself to express his concern over world actions with President Barack Obama.

After seeing news footage of fighting in Syria and having a discussion with his mother on why it was happening, he decided to write a letter to the President.

This past summer, Adnan received a response from the White House that included photos of the first family and a letter thanking him for his interest and urging him to do his best in school.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
