Mineola Student Wins National Entenmann’s Essay Contest

Catherine Winski, a third-grade student at the was named as the winner of this year’s Essay Contest, sponsored by the baking company.

The writing contest was open to students in grades three through six across the county and more than 2,000 entries were received. Students were challenged to write a descriptive response in response to the question, “What is your favorite Entenmann’s product and why?”

Winski’s essay was chosen based upon her description of the bakery’s chocolate chip cookies.

For her winning submission, Catherine received an iPod Touch with case, a stereo system and headphones.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
