A Mineola elementary school teacher is a finalist for teacher of the month in KJOY 98.3’s monthly promotion.
Meadow Drive first grade teacher Debbie Andreuzzi was nominated in the contest by her students for the radio station’s monthly contest with a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card to help with her class courtesy of Jericho-based Learning Rx, a learning skills and discovery company.
The contest requires readers to vote at the contest page on the KJOY website and registration is required. Voting for the month ends on Jan. 31 and a winner will be picked on Feb. 1.
The radio station has held a teacher contest for several years, recently changing formats from its “teacher feature” – a teacher of the week contest – to the current monthly format.
