St. Aiden’s Students Have Breakfast with Santa

Parochial school students start December off with visit from Old Saint Nick.

On Saturday December 3, St. Aiden’s students celebrated Christmas a bit early with both breakfast and lunch with Santa in Monsignor Kirwin Hall.

As soon as Old Saint Nick arrived, the children were lining up to have a chance to talk to him and have their picture taken.

Priesto the Magician put on a magic show that left many of the children in amazement, there were crafts to make and plenty of enticing baskets in which to put raffle tickets to take a chance.

In the true spirit of Christmas, the children all gathered around a birthday cake lit with candles to sing Happy Birthday to the infant Jesus.

Ice cream cups complete with toppings were served and everyone left with a goody bag and a large smile.

Mary Ellen Testa, Tara Rogan and Eileen Sullivan were thanked for helping to put on the event, and gratitude was given to all the young volunteers who helped the event run smoothly.
