The Flyers’ varsity lacrosse team continues to score goals at a rapid pace against their opponents, netting double-digits and taking a match Thursday morning at Greenwich 11-3, improving their overall record to 5-0.
Greenwich, which is still searching for its first victory of the season, was outscored 5-1 in the first quarter and trailed 8-1 at the half.

The team’s road trip will be cut short due to the passing of former Chaminade athletic director and Merrick native Jack Lenz, who died on April 9. The wake will be on Friday at the NF Walker Funeral Home in Merrick.
