The Mineola boys varsity basketball team paid a visit to the Bethpage Eagles Wednesday, getting overmatched 71-49 in a non-league game. The Mustangs record falls to 2-2 overall, while the Eagles improved to 3-1. Mineola guards Brian Gaffney and Mike Waszchuck led with the team with 16 and 10 points respectively.
Mineola will next face off against Lynbrook Friday at 7 pm.
