2012 NY Open Taekwondo Championships & Korean Cultural Festival

Y.H. Park Taekwondo Academy will be hosting the 2012 New York Open TaeKwonDo Championships/Korean Cultural Festival on Saturday October 20, 2012 at the Chaminade High School Athletic Center, 311 Jericho Tpke., Mineola, NY 11501.  The event kicks off at 9:00AM.

The tournament will consist of competitive sparring, board breaking, and forms as well as a Team Demo Competitions.  Highlighting this year’s event will be a special showcase between the national level team from New York facing off against international rival Team Mexico. 

This exciting sports and cultural event will also feature seminars prior to and during the festival, Korean style food, and Korean Cultural Performances.
