The  Flyers headed to  Thursday in search of victory and retaliation after a tough loss in the  against the Holy Trinity Titans. Not only were the Flyers looking to redeem themselves, but both teams were fighting for the first place slot.

Thursday's outcome all boiled down to the evening's final frames. Both teams brought their 'A' game but only the Titans could seal the win. It was a feeling all too familiar when the Flyers were defeated 5-4, putting Holy Trinity in first place to enter the playoffs.

Flyers sophomore Phil Loeschinger pulled through with a game-time high of 687. As a sophomore, Loeschinger brings a lot to the young Chaminade team. Season star Andrew Fenn wasn't too far behind, accumulating a 661 series.

"Both the (season) opener and today were very close," Chaminade coach Steven Toner added.

On the Titans' side, Anthony Dellaratta earned an impressive 642 throughout the heated battle. Luis Christie was the top scorer for Holy Trinity with 663.
