Former Mineola Athletic Assn. Player Commits to Rhode Island
Kellenberg senior Caitlin Kennedy signs letter of intent to play softball for University of Rhode Island.
Former player Caitlin Kennedy is now a Ram.
On Wednesday the former member of the Mineola Heat, which brought two championships to Mineola, signed the National Letter of Intent to play softball for the University of Rhode Island.
Kennedy is currently a senior at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale. She verbally committed to URI in July of 2011.

Kennedy’s family along with Ken Solosky, brother of the late Ed Solosky, Athletic Director of Kellenberg Memorial, were present for the signing.
