Mineola’s Bulva Named to NY All-State Baseball Team

alumni Jimmy Bulva was named to the 2011 New York State Sportswriters Association (NYSSWA) all-star team recently.

The Mustang firstbaseman made the third team of the Class A squad at his primary position. During the 2011-12 school year, Bulva also pitched for the Mustangs.

According to online records, which were only available as far back as the 2006 season, Bulva is the only player from Mineola to be named to the NYSSWA all-state team.
