Port Washington Public Library, Landmark on Main Street, NPR, the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and Marian McPartland's family to come together to mark this occasion and celebrate her life. The event features Jon Weber, pianist and new host of NPR's Piano Jazz, and clips from “In Good Time,” a film about Marian McPartland's life will be shown by the filmmaker. The evening will also feature performances by young jazz performers. One young performer will receive a scholarship stipend from the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
