<p>Edward Smith Lions Club of Mineola has been a part of Mineola for nearly 60 years.</p> <p>The organization was founded in 1952 and raises money to donate to a variety of charities for the blind and for other diabilites.</p> <p>The Lions Club donations to these charities provide research, assist disabled children, or provide the needy with eyeglasses.
