Our local kids and all othrr employees don't need to risk their lives all hrs day n night for some derelict most likely looking to buy cigarettes or candy or something non essential at that hr

The police did not indicate that the two robberies are connected. They are separate incidents.

But I remember reading about the robbery of CVS a few weeks ago in the Mineola Patch and it ALSO said that the thief was a man in his 50s and fled on a bicycle down Roslyn Rd. That's why i thought they were saying they caught the guy from THAT robbery. That's a STRANGE coincidence. I think The Patch is going to have to clear this up...lol. Maybe they made a mistake in the article."

I did 3 times over and there was nothing in the article that led my to beleive that the apartments…Read More were an old age home. I think the author of the article would have clearly said "old age home" but used the terminology "apartments". Again,what makes you think the apartments are an "old age home'?
