The OMA is responsible for overseeing Nassau County's affirmative action program as well as enforcing Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act.</p> <p>In addition to holding seminars, workshops, lectures and other events in targeted communities to forward minority businesses, the OMA also investigates instances of discrimination and harassment in Nassau County workplaces.</p>
