The Mineola School District is a Pre-K through 12th grade school district, encompassing parts of the communities of…More Mineola, Albertson, Williston Park, Garden City Park and Roslyn Heights within the district boundaries.  There are four elementary schools in the district: Willis Avenue, Meadow Drive, Hampton Street and Jackson Avenue, as well as a middle school and high school.</p> <p>The district administrative offices are housed on the second floor of the Willis Avenue School.  The main entrance to the administration offices can be found in the back of the school just off the entrance to the rear parking lot from Jackson Avenue.</p>

Actually located in Garden City Park, Mineola High School occupies several acres of land between Washington Avenue…More and Armstrong Road. The three-story building is a conventional high school, home to grades eight through 12.</p> <p>A large field dominates the area of the property near Country Courthouse Road, where baseball games are known to attract a large number of spectators.  The school also boasts its own six-lane track and soccer and lacrosse fields.</p> <p>Notable alumni include U.S. Congressman Steven Boghos Derounian, U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, NY State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, composer Stephen Schwartz, professional soccer player Manny Matos and actor Haywood Nelson.</p>
