Situated on a large square block along Emory Road, it is in-between Jackson and Garfield avenues.</p> <p>Some of the remnants of the original high school still remain, such as the Greco-Roman carved letters depicting separate entrances for boys & girls, as well as designations for the gymnasium and cafeteria wings. You can also find the words "high school" inscribed above the main entrance.</p> <p>The school features a large field to the north, just off of Jackson Avenue (featuring two softball fields), as well as plenty of green space in the front and rear of the building. One of the most unique features inside the school is the aquarium located near the school offices. It is stocked with a colorful array of exotic fish.</p>
