Matthew Romagnoli, LIU-Brooklyn, Neighbor

Hello I&#39;m Matt Romagnoli and lifelong resident of NHP. I currently am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing at Long Island University Brooklyn. I have an insatiable appetite for reading that is only paralleled by a voracious desire to write. Writing and reading go hand in hand. I’ve found both pleasurable and my passions in life. I’ve written for LIU’s school newspaper, <i>Seawanhaka</i>, for several years and Nassau Community College’s paper <i>The Vignette</i>.

          In addition to writing articles for school newspapers, I also write for several blogs. All my curiosity and interest in writing<i> s</i>tarted with my first poem at NHP Road School, which was also my first published piece. I participated in many youth programs and sports in town as well. I went on to attend Chaminade High School. After which I went on to study at the college level. I also studied for my New York State EMT certification. I followed this up by achieving my NYS/NYC Paramedic certification. It has been these different paths that brought me to where I am now, following my passion to write.
