Mineola Man Arrested on Cocaine Charges

A Mineola man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly selling cocaine to undercover officers in Potsdam, NY.

According to Potsdam Village Police, The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, including members of the village police department, conducted several undercover purchases from 18-year old Charles A. Attard and seized $1,600 in cash.

Attard, a member of the Mineola High School Class of 2012 and currently a SUNY Potsdam student, is being charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony.

He was arraigned Tuesday in Potsdam Village Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail in Canton in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
