Community Church Lenten Series: "Embracing an Adult Faith"

The Garden City Community Church has announced the discussion series called "Embracing an Adult Faith." The series will be held on four Wednesday night sessions beginning on March 12th Garden City Community Church.

In this four-week series participants will confront the big questions and work together toward authentic answers as the Reverend Jim Adelmann facilitates what promises to be a lively discussion among all.  Each weekly program will begin with a brief video presentation featuring renowned author and contemporary theologian, Marcus Borg, followed by a guided group discussion. Topics will include: our understanding of who God is; our understanding of Jesus and his place in contemporary faith; what we mean by “Salvation; “Christian Practices” and their value and what we think “Christian Community” is all about.
