Where/When: , Weekly on Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Why Go: Long Island Children’s Museum is getting ready for a rip-roaring, snorting and hacking good time this summer as it welcomes this wildly popular, “science-in-disguise” exhibit. Sophisticated animatronics and imaginative exhibits explain to kids how and why their bodies produce mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly, stinky things that many people think are gross. 

Pricing: Free with museum admission

Where/When: , Weekly on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Bring your children to The Cupcake Corner bakery/cafe and we will give them a free craft to do while you enjoy a cup of coffee and a cupcake! Craft changes weekly – some crafts include painting suncatchers, creating a fish out of a paper plate, decorating a picture frame, etc.

Where/When: , Saturday & Sunday, July 16 & 17 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Join in the fun with artistic activities involving goop, shaving cream and play-doh. The afternoon will offer a variety of sensory activities for children ages 18 months to age 4.

Where/When: Nassau County Museum of Art, Sunday, July 17 at 1 p.m. 

Why Go: A very popular program, Family Sunday at the Museum, offers supervised art activities for youngsters and the adults in their lives – family gallery talks and family-friendly gallery guides. The gallery talks begin at 1 p.m. followed by an art activity at 1:30 p.m.
