The Fraternal Order of Court Officers of New York State (FOCO) presented a $1,000 Thanksgiving check to The Interfaith Nutrition Network (The INN) in Hempstead on Wednesday.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to assist those who are in need during this difficult time,” FOCO President Joe Cannella said in a statement. “The devastation caused by the recent storm has put an increased burden on charitable organizations such as the INN who provide much needed resources to those who need it the most.”
FOCO Charity Coordinator Mike Riveiro spearheaded the campaign and was present as the check was presented to workers at The INN.
FOCO members are active in many outreach and community initiatives that serve the community at large. Members serve in various courts in the system but are based out of the Mineola courts.
