Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

All the hot spots to check out the weekend of August 12-14 in Mineola.

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

 will be featuring live music from the Usual Suspects on Friday evening and Mankind on Saturday. Eleanor Rigby’s will also be hosting a tribute to Frank Sinatra at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening. More information about these performances can be found here.

The NYCB Theater at Westbury will be hosting multiple events this weekend starting Friday evening with an Elvis Presley Tribute performance beginning at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, alum and Dennis Miller take their tour over to Westbury for a performance beginning at 8:00 p.m. Ticket information for these performances can be found here.

Garden City's Recreation Department will host its f of the season beginning at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a showing of the movie Gnomeo and Juliet. This special movie night will be free for all to enjoy and the snack bar will feature Dollar Dog Night!

Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess star in “One Day,” a film about two people that meet on graduation day and reunite once a year for the next twenty years.

The latest installment in the “Spy Kids” franchise hits theaters this weekend as “Spy Kids: All the Time in the World” opens this weekend.

Colin Farrell does his best vampire impression in the horror film, “Fright Night,” which also hits box offices this weekend.

Happy Hours

Murphy’s Happy Hour which runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Wings are 25 cents each and domestic bottles are $3 apiece. If you can’t make it to Happy Hour, karaoke night starts at 9 p.m. every Saturday.

O’Donnell’s is open for happy hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with $3 domestic bottles available along with a discount of $2 on cocktails this weekend.
