Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

“Urban Street Gypsies” will play at Eleanor Rigby’s on Friday night at 9 p.m. They are a great rock & roll band who plays everything from classic rock to today’s current hits. On Saturday night, “The Rockaholics” will take the stage at 8:30 p.m.

It’s a comedy filled weekend as comedians, Demetri Martin and Martin Short will take the stage at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Demetri Martin will be at the Theatre on Friday night at 8 p.m. Ticket prices for the event range from $39.75 to $49.75. On Saturday night, Martin Short will be performing. Ticket prices are $49.50 to $79.50.

Happy Hour

Murphy’s Bar & Grill offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
