Here are 5 suggestions of places to quickly grab breakfast to jump start your day.

Morning people can attest to the importance of having a wholesome meal in order to start the day off right. However for those that are “too busy,” lack a morning appetite or just aren’t fond of waking up early, here are ways to compromise so you can still find time for breakfast even if you're on the go.



Situated in the heart of Mineola,  has breakfast ready to go as early as 7 a.m. Commuters who are headed to work can stop for a quick bite or choose from a takeout menu of breakfast foods including eggs, omelets, hot or cold cereals and pastries.

  • Note: Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., closed on Saturday and Sunday



 and recently renovated, the  caters to commuters. If you dine before 11 a.m. customers can take advantage of the specials board that has breakfast combos at extremely reasonable prices. If you don’t have time to sit down, call ahead so you can pick it up on the way. 



Situated next to Mineola train station,  is a one stop shop for a bite or full breakfast before starting the day. Early birds can walk in as early as 5 a.m. for a selection of both hot and cold breakfast items.  



There are three, yes three locations in Mineola. If you are craving coffee or want to grab a morning bite this is a fast and easy option.

Toast N Jamz

Right outside of Mineola, Toast N Jamz is a breakfast option for either sit down or take out starting at 8 a.m. The menu features items including specialty pancakes, homemade warm baked oatmeal and omelets.
