Patch Picks: Where to Watch Super Bowl XLV in Mineola

Super Bowl Sunday is almost here and football fans are gearing up for the big game.  Here’s a rundown of the five best places in Mineola to watch the Green Bay Packers vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.

• Details: The world famous St. James is another great place to watch the big game. The St. James has 17 televisions simultaneously playing every game on Sunday.

• Details: the Cornerstone is a a true sports bar, great for watching any game, especially the Super Bowl. They have the NFL network playing on 15 televisions, two pool tables, two dart boards, arcade games like Big Buck Hunter and Golden Tee.  You can also play Quick Draw or play songs on the internet jukebox. For the game they’ll be serving a combo bar pie and 12 wings for $10.95.  The bar will also be making wings to go the day of the game. The prices are $7.95 for 12, $14.95 for 24, 33.95 for 50, $48.95 for 75, $64.95 for 100, $79.95 for 150, and $95.95 for 200.

• Details: Eleanor Rigby’s is a place where “a splendid time is guaranteed for all.”  The spacious bar can accommodate a large crowd. For the Super Bowl, they are offering $3.00 Budweiser beers, $3.50 pints, 25 cent Buffalo wings, and complimentary appetizers at halftime.
