Nassau Pops Orchestra Returns to Mineola for Encore
Clasical orchestra comes back to Memorial Park for more popular performances.
For the , Mineola was filled with the vibrant sounds of the Nassau POPS Orchestra, who returned Friday night to perform as part of the Summer Concert Series at the park this season.
Numerous Mineola residents made their way into the park for this free concert by the popular band which, under the direction of Maestro Louis Panacciull, performed a series of both classic and contemporary hits ranging from Latin marches, to theme songs from popular movies such as The Wizard of Oz and Harry Potter.
The audience also got a special treat when vocalists Ann and Jack Cassin joined the orchestra for a few songs as the band played along.
