Long Island Restaurant Week Returns to Mineola
Davenport Press among local restaurants participating.
The sixth annual Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off Sunday, with dozens of participating restaurants.
Restaurants will offer $24.95 menus of three dinner choices, appetizers and desserts.
In Mineola the Davenport Press is participating, along with in Albertson, in Garden City Park and La Marmite in Williston Park.

This year, partnering with Long Island Restaurant Week and L.I. Tweetup, several restaurants will collect donations for Island Harvest and host meetings between L.I.Tweetup members to benefit Island Harvest.
Five restaurants, including Thyme Restaurant in Roslyn, Vittorio’s in Amityville, in Huntington, Grasso's in Cold Spring Harbor, andNick & Toni’s in East Hampton, will collect donations of cash, non-perishable food or supermarket cards to .
