Vacant Funtabulous Boutique in Mineola [POLL]

What would you like to see fill the vacant space left by the children's clothing store?

Sandwiched between on the right and , a designer men’s clothing store on the left, the children’s clothing store  at 84 Main Street would seem to be in a desired spot among apparel retailers.

But while Fox’s continues to draw crowds at its vast two-store women’s clothing store, a “For Lease” sign hung outside the vacant Funtabulous Boutique on Sunday.

Funtabulous, which opened in October 2009, offered fashion for babies and tots, including high-end clothing, accessories, shoes and furniture for infants, toddlers and young children.

Its grand opening was hailed as a success according to Funtabulous’ Facebook page; but 2 years hence, a new tenant will eventually be taking over that space.

LoopNet Inc., which describes itself as the No. 1 commercial real estate service online, listed the building size as 4,225 square feet and the space available at 1,625 square feet, at a rental rate of $22 per square foot, per year.
