Feb. 10: New Library Exhibit, Basketball and Karaoke

We’ve got a lot of action on Thursday, so why don’t we jump right in? We’ve got something for everybody today. The Mineola library has a new exhibit, we’ve got hoops action at The Rock and Mineola’s own local version of “American Idol.”

Here's what else you need to know: 

1. A new exhibit will be featured at the beginning today and running through April 2 focused on , a Portuguese diplomat to France who issued 30,000 visas to Jews and others fleeing Germany during WWII. 

2. We’re still looking for moms to join our . Things kick off next Wednesday and we’re still looking for some moms to help contribute to the Patch and speak to other moms about what’s going on around Mineola! Click  for all the details!

3. Chaminade will face off today in one of the last  of the regular season. Tip off is slated for 4 p.m.
