A recent Boy Scout Troop 45 Eagle Court of Honor ceremony was held in honor of Kevin Mulder, Christopher Gavin, Matthew Kohl, and Jonathon D’Annunzio on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
Leaders of Troop 45, elected officials, community leaders, family, and friends gathered torecognize the four Eagle Scouts’ achievements. Eagle Scout is the highest rank inthe Boy Scouts of America, and is achieved by only 3 percent of boys who enterscouting. It is the culmination of years of commitment, effort and preparation.
The scouts were honored by representatives of both the Town of North Hempstead and Nassau County, including Legis. Richard Nicolello, Village of Mineola Mayor Scott Strauss, Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and North Hempstead Councilman Angelo Ferrara.
