“Dressed to a Tea”, Nassau County Bar Association’s Annual Fashion Show and fundraiser, will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the NCBA headquarters, 15th and West Streets, Mineola. This highly anticipated fashion show and light supper, sponsored by the NCBA WE CARE Fund and the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, will feature Nassau County court judges and employees modeling 2012 spring fashions courtesy of Lord & Taylor. Hair and make-up for the models will be provided courtesy of Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Attendees may also bid on unique collections of tea pots as well as other “tea” items in the Chinese Auction.

This year, proceeds from” Dressed to a Tea” will benefit local charities including Interfaith Nutrition Network, Dress for Success, Education & Assistance Corporation, The Eastern Farm Workers and Bethany House.

Since its founding in 1988, The WE CARE Fund, the charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association, has raised more than $2 million that has been distributed to more than 100 local charitable causes. Today it has matured into a nationally recognized model for similar programs at other bar associations.
