King Kullen Helps Sends Kids to Camp

Supermarket chain donates $6,000 to Family Service League's camp program.

This summer,  grocery stores, along with generous donations made by its customers, contributed $6,000 to support the Family Service League’s camp program.

Over 250 children were able to experience day and sleep-away camps, enjoying a range of outdoor activities including music and art programs, nature classes, and more.

The camps are located throughout Long Island, New York and New Jersey.

To be considered for the program children must be between the ages of 4-16, reside in Suffolk County, and meet the poverty level income qualifications.
