Former Mineola resident passed away on Jan. 20, 2013.

Charles Hewlett Ackley, 83, of Middletown, DE and formerly of Lake Wood, CO, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born on Sept. 10, 1929 in Mineola, NY, he was the son of the late Mildred (Bucknam) and Harry E. Ackley.

Ackley dedicated and devoted many years as the owner of a passport/visa service in New York. Following the sale of his business, he and his wife, Leila, moved to Lake Wood to be closer to their daughter and within the past two years relocated to Middletown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Leila (Turner) Ackley; two sons, Mark Bucknam Ackley and Charles “Chip” Turner Ackley and his wife, Deanne; a daughter, Stacey Maniatis and her husband, George, with whom he and Leila lived and four grandchildren.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.

Looking for info when project will begin
