Joseph S. Zuchowski, 95, Army Veteran
Former Mineola resident passed away on Aug. 31, 2013.
Joseph S. Zuchowski of Bayonne passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at the Bayonne Medical Center at the age of 95. He was born and raised in Bayonne then later resided in Mineola, NY before returning to Bayonne many years ago.
Mr. Zuchowski served his country proudly during WW II in The United States Army. He was employed with The Morania Oil Company of Staten Island, NY for 40 years as an office administrative assistant retiring in 1984.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann (nee: Patufka) Zuchowski in 1989, his parents Louis and Salomea (nee: Dziedzic) Zuchowski, 2 sisters, Bertha and Helen and 4 brothers, John, Frank, Stanley and Louis.
He is survived by his daughter Joanne Olson, son Lawrence (Larry) Zuchowski, sister Sally Pelowitz and brother Henry Zuchowski; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation and funeral mass was held on Sept. 5, 2013. at St. Henry's R.C. Church in Bayonne with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
