Vivian C. Manuta, (nee Chartoff) of Mineola, NY passed away on Jan. 9, 2013, at the age of 83.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; her children Marlene (David), Louis (Janet), and David; as well as her grandchildren Tony, Matthew, Jesse and Kayle.
Vivian enjoyed her lifelong career working as a registered pediatrics nurse, as well as a school nurse.
Funeral services will take place on Friday Jan. 11, 2013 at the Garden City Jewish Center commencing at 9:30 a.m., with interment to immediately follow at the Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF). Shiva will be observed at Marlene’s Westbury home Saturday, January 12 after 6 p.m. and Sunday, January 13.
