Eyesore on Emory Rd Mineola

Went down Emory Rd. yesterday for the first time in years. What's the deal with that humugous house off the corner of Jericho Tpke. Is there no building code in Mineola? I feel sorry for the  residents who constantly have to look at this eyesore.
