It’s a tradition that families gather around the dinner table for Thanksgiving each year, flooding one’s home with people until it practically seems to burst. Siblings, parents, cousins, friends, the list goes on. After a while you’ve got 20 people coming over and are probably ready to pull your hair out from all the cooking you’ve been doing all day.
The other side of the coin is that many choose to dine out Thanksgiving at a restaurant without that hassle – let someone else do the dishes! – and you get to spend more time actually talking and being with your family instead of in a kitchen.
