A man with diabetes and schizophrenia has gone missing from Mineola home, and Nassau Police need help finding him.
The last time Barney Priester, 45, was seen was Thursday at 2 p.m. at 17 Lauren Drive in Mineola. He was wearing black boots, black sweats, black t-shirts. He was traveling unknown by foot. Thursday was the last time he took medication for diabetes.
Priester is described six-foot, and 330 pounds.

The Silver Alert was issued by Nassau Police Friday evening. The program disseminates information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
Many of those reported missing are located.
