A Mineola man who broke the window of a gas station in Garden City Park was arrested Friday by the Nassau County Police at the report of a disturbance.
According to detectives from the , Harpreet Singh, 24, had allegedly broken a store window at the at 2399 Jericho Turnpike at 12:45 a.m.
Officers arrested Singh who, according to a report, repeatedly spit at officers and attempted to kick the officer driving while he was being transported for processing
When a second officer intervened, that officer was kicked in the right arm and was removed to a local hospital where he was treated and released for contusions to his arm. Singh also continued to spit at officers while he was being processed.

He is charged with second degree assault, third degree criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration. He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.
