Nassau County Police to Hold Car Auction Jan. 8

Vehicles are forfeitures from DWI and criminal offenders.

Twenty-four vehicles seized by the Nassau County Police Department and other police agencies and forfeited through the efforts of the District Attorney’s Office will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on January 8 through internet auctions at Copart.com.

The auction includes:

  • A 1998 Lincoln Navigator
  • A 1999 custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle
  • A 2001 Chevrolet PT Cruiser
  • A 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
  • A 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
  • A 2005 Accura TL
  • A 2009 Dodge Caravan

Proceeds from the auction will go to both the state and county and is used for restitution to victims, anti drug efforts and crime-reduction programs.
