Police Arrest Man for Making Terrorist Threat

Port Washington man allegedly made a threatening call to Mineola office.

Nassau County police detectives have arrested a Port Washington man for making a terrorist threat.

According to Third Precinct detectives, 46-year old Patrick Finnegan allegedly threatened a social security employee in Mineola during a telephone conversation Wednesday at 2:45 p.m.

Finnegan reportedly expressed his unhappiness with the service he received and threatened that if something was not done to resolve his complaint, he would go there and blow hers or someone’s brains out.

Third Squad detectives arrested Finnegan at his residence on Wednesday at 8 p.m. He is being charged with making a terrorist threat, aggravated harassment in the second degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
